Contribute Case Studies

Case studies worldwide will contribute to understanding the significance of 'Bright Spots' and the drivers that are essential to develop and sustain them.

We welcome contributions of new cases that will be added to a database that currently includes over 250 examples of bright spots.

Bright spots cases should have the following attributes:

• Demonstrated improvement in land and water resource condition, by individuals or communities that occupy degradation-prone marginal lands.
• Information on the problems addressed, solutions and achievements
• Information on the extent of the bright spot
• Contact person who can complete the brief project questionnaire on drivers
