•	Direct appointment to international vacancies at IWMI The Director General may offer an international appointment to a spouse or partner of an international staff member, if they fully meet the requirements and IWMI’s standards of excellence
•	Short –term appointments for specialized professional consultancies These are considered if your spouse or partner has the skills, qualifications and experience to take on specialized consultancies relevant to IWMI’s needs.
•	Regional and national positions Your spouse or partner can apply for regional and national staff positions if vacancies occur.
•	Research Associates IWMI will provide partners or spouses with their own workspace and facilities to write research proposals to donors.
