Attracting Women Researchers from Developing Countries
|
| It is a fact of life that women have
contributed more to economic development than science or technology.
IWMI continues to expand its efforts to increase gender balance
in a previously male- heavy system by targeting recruitments
for female researchers from developing countries. To this end
we are also currently training female staff for management positions
through the development of leadership and management skills.

 |
hold management positions and the
percentage of women in leadership positions on the Board is
61%. Our personnel policies are also being redesigned with future
targets in mind.
