The Asian regional conference and the international seminar on Participatory Irrigation Management (PIM) are held regularly in different countries each year and now both of these special events are going to take place simultaneously, next year in Tehran.

The main programs and activities in this event are as following:

1. The 4th Asian Regional conference and the 10th international Seminar on Participatory irrigation management where all experts would gather in to discuss on the most important issues 
2. International History seminar on irrigation and drainage which is an introduction to ancient Iran's strange and wonderful irrigation and drainage technology
3. International exhibition of what the industry and technology has achieved so far
4. Great ceremonies, deep paper presentations and directing keynote lectures would be held in Iran summit hall (ISH) which is located in a beautiful place and fully equipped.
5. Workshops and roundtables are arranged to connect audiences, scientists and technology pioneers in a very active and friendly atmosphere
6. Technical tour on irrigation and drainage projects will lead us to the application of technology, what we have today and what we need tomorrow
7. Recreational journeys straight to the heart of history to discover ancient Iran
8. Tehran tours for the accompanying persons, introducing beautiful palaces, various and amazing museums…

Many other programs which are planned in content, in order to prepare an opportunity to experience scientific and personal adventures at the same time.
